Paper Pumpkin- October 2016

Happy Halloween!! I love, love Halloween and I am once again looking forward to eating the kids’ candy taking the kids trick-or-treating. This year I will be escorting a vampire, Transformers Bumblebee, a green ninja and a little lamb around the neighborhood. I cannot wait! Do you have anything fun or special planned to celebrate Halloween?

I hope everyone had a good weekend, and I am happy to report that mine was exactly what I needed it to be! I didn’t have a single thing that needed to be done on Saturday and I was able to rest and relax my day away. That, of course, means I was able to spend my day crafting. LOL That really is the most relaxing thing to me! I think most crafters will tell you that crafting is therapeutic and absolutely relaxing. The only thing that makes crafting on a lazy Saturday even better is Paper Pumpkin.

Paper Pumpkin is a nice little suprprise that comes in your mailbox once a month. It’s always a bit of a mystery as far as what the project(s) will be, but they are always seasonally appropriate. I love that it takes all of the “work” out of crafting because you don’t have to think about that you’re making. Just grab your adhesive and scissors and you’re ready to go! This month’s Paper Pumkin is “The Season of Gratitude” and it’s absoloutely adorable.

I’ve never made a shaker card before and I have to admit I am in LOVE!! I see many, many shaker cards in my future. Everything you need comes in the Paper Pumpkin kit and it’s a great way to start building a supply and learn something new. I honestly did not have shaker cards on my list of things to try. They always seemed a bit complicated, and this girl does NOT do complicated! LOL

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope you all have a safe and happy Halloween! If you’d like to order Paper Pumpkin for yourself click HERE.
